Diese Woche ist die It's a String Thing Herausforderung von Adele Bruno eine Hommage an Piet Mondrian. Und der String ist daher sehr geradlinig.
As an hommage to Piet Mondrian the string of this week's challenge It's a String Thing by Adele Bruno looks very linear.
Zuerst war mir das fast zu gerade. Aber ich wollte es dann doch ausprobieren. Wozu heißt es sonst Herausforderung?
First I thought it was too linear for me. But then I wanted to try this. This is why It's called challenge, isn't it?
Warum nicht mal Farbe ins Spiel bringen? Ich wollte auch gerne neue Stifte ausprobieren.
Nach den ersten Strichen dachte ich "oh nein - die schöne Kachel ist hin", habe dann aber doch weiter gemacht.
Und jetzt gefällt es mir doch ganz gut. Hat auch mal was.
Und es hat Spaß gemacht, mit Farbe zu schattieren.

Why not making use of some colour? Also I wanted to try some new pens.
After the first few strokes I thought "oh no - the beautiful tile is spoiled", but I went on.
And now I do like it in a way. It is ... something different. Why not.
And it was fun to make the shadings in colour.
